Drive, Sovereign, drive!
I didn’t take the picture; Joe took them all. I was thinking to yoink them and resize them accordingly but then I got lazy. They’re all on his flickr anyways. They’re all lovely … Day 1 and Day 2.

It was fun! Random BBC women in hot pants following a creepy guy in a trenchcoat … Random vampire girls … Free stuff … Good times! I didn’t catch Favourite Sons, Erase Errata, Tyrades, Bill Dolan, or Panthers but it’s ok, the acts I saw were peachy keen. I’m not sure how I’m feeling about Pofo Mofo (aka the Pitchfork Music Festival) because I don’t know any of the bands really. Then again, that happened to me last year at Intonation so hey! New music I may love!

So I got an email from Columbia College on picking an orientation day so I’m assuming I got in … ? I didn’t get an actual letter in the mail yet but … Yeah. That’s happiness.

I also got a job at the Taste of Chicago. It’s insane cause I’m pretty much busy from Saturday to Thursday because my current job sort of meshes in with the days I’m working at the Taste. I’ll be helping at a souvenir booth! Yay! Long days but what else is new? I’m always working from like 12PM to 10PM at O’hare so 1PM to 9:30PM is not terrible. I guess it’s not air conditioned but considering there’s no separation from the registers and the kitchen at Shitty Wok, it won’t be too much different. Hopefully.

That’ll be weird … Being unavailable for about a week but yeah, I need the money.
