I have a cold. I know it’s about 80 degrees out but I still have one!
The plan today was a Murder by Death mini-gig at Reckless Records down Broadway then a concert at the Metro. I was a trooper for the first part. I didn’t see the band at all due to my immense shortness but as the day went on, I realized I should have stayed at home.
Joe was a spiffy boyfriend and brought me home at around 5PM. I took a nap and so here I am! Since it was an all-ages show, I’m assuming the concert is over or in the process of winding down.
No sexy cello action for me tonight.
Ew, I have work tomorrow. I’m hoping it won’t be busy since it’s Memorial Day weekend. That busy thing seems more of a Monday thing in this case.
I don’t like being sick, you guys.
Hey, at least you weren’t forced to get sick. Seeing as how Elaine AND Pabs were sick, I got it. Not to mention the part where Pabs will cough in his hand and wipe it all over me, just to make sure I die. Yes. And that is how I’M sick. It’s stupid, how one can get a COLD in the SUMMER (er, spring, but summer temps). I’m sorry about work, but I need to find a job. It will suck in the summer time though, don’t want to work in the summer, traveling in the heat, etc. Oy.

Barabara, you’re wrong. First off, we do all have sick. all cold. so much cold. In summer. Now here is about cold: colds come when you are inside too much, because viruses percolate. Inside = summer! sometimes. Air conditioning? yah that might be it.
Also! Diona got sick because I got sick. And she was all, kissyfuku and i was all, sneeeeez yukk and shit all got yuk. So she had t oget yuk. So we both get yuk.

You were lucky to even have seen the acoustic set at Reckless – I was going to both shows and then a stupid promise I made came and stole it all away from me. But hey, there’s always next time?
