The following was written earlier. It says that but I cuts it cause I feels like it. I have to finish some homework because I totally slacked off yesterday!

So this is being handwritten at about 8am on the Red Line train out to 95th. I was semi-rudely awakened by parents warning me of a possible lack of ride to the train.

Worst part of my commute: waiting up to 30 to 45 minutes for the #81 Lawrence bus. I am a super ride mooch when it comes to the morning.

Anyways, I got my ass up and prepared to “get ready” for work.

“Get ready” for me is usually me dicking around on the internet until the very moment I have to leave the house.

I went on Facebook of course and read the following:

Brandon Lee This is my dissertation, homie this shit is basic, welcome to graduation. Good morning.

So, I got Kanye stuck in my head and have been listening to the album since setting foot on the train/bus/way of public transit.

While listening, I realized a couple things.

One being Joe telling me his theory of haters of Kanye West. The gist of it was that Kanye is human while all other aspects of celebrity and hip-hop tries to be the opposite. The public who hates want to keep their celebrities as plain smile-at-the-cameras or trainwrecked as possible. They don’t want emotions attached to their celebs, kthx.

I don’t know about you but I have a better idea of what Kanye is like as a person than any other celeb and I dig it.

Hopefully that summary is about right. That’s what I believe anyways. To sum it up, hatin’ gets us nowhere. If you don’t dig something, put it down and move on.

Yeah, I think too much about this crap.

In addition to my contemplation of Mr. West, I thought, “HOLY FUCK. GRADUATION IS LESS THAN A WEEK AWAY.”

I am not hiding out in grad school so hello recession! My name is Diona. IMAX is my future indefinitely, money saving, searching, etc. It is difficult to be alive.

Strangely enough, I am really passed the time of perpetual worry. My parents are doing that enough for me. I am ready to move on. The agenda:

  • Tuesday: Gown Pick-up
  • Thursday: Industry Night
  • Friday: Goodbyes at the Y
  • Saturday: Graduation

Just got to get through the week. Happy Sunday. I am from the train to sitting alone on a bench overlooking the pier while seagulls sqwawk loud as fuck.

Kanye sez: “Welcome to the Good Life.”

  1. Fingers crossed for the good life! Congratulations! Welcome to graduation.
