I have not blogged in forever because I was in the middle of switching domain hosts. I figured … HEY! I’ll just wait until that’s done … But then, it took a while. Also, I was thinking about putting up a layout Joe did for me but I may put that off for now.

My first Lollapalooza and Joe gets us free VIP passes for moderating their message boards! Free food, free water and drinks … Shade … Chairs … Free Hats … Flowers … Fountains even!

I got my first massage because they were offering them for free. I felt kind of bad though because since the only people who could possibly afford a VIP pass are a yuppie or just plain rich, the masseur and masseuse were getting tips I considered a lot of money. I didn’t tip because I’m not a yuppie who paid $600 or so for my pass. I’d tip $10 or $20 like everyone else if I had a spare $10 or $20.

I still don’t know how I’m paying for my tuition.

I must admit, I enjoyed the three day music fest but I must also admit, I was quite a whiner about the heat and walking but overall, it was fantabulous. I mean, it was better than the heat at Pofo Mofo. Though I did get sunburnt for the first time ever. It hurts still. Here are a few pictures. Not a lot because … ... I don’t take that many and don’t like posting so much.

Joe took that last one. He usually takes all the pictures since he has a better view of things. His flickr is still found here. My favourite act of the weekend was Kanye West.

I’ve seen so many acts this summer! It’s so great. My favourites so far are The Streets and KYMM (Kid, You’ll Move Mountains). I’d love seeing Kanye and Mike Skinner working on something together. I just realized they seem to Rap about similar topics … One just lives “across the pond”.

I think I’m ending my summer with TMBG at the Zoo. I forget when though. Oh yeah, I don’t have a job anymore because I quit it a couple weeks ago. My parents won’t stop bugging me about it. I’m searching hard for a new job but nothing yet. If you know anywhere that’s hiring that’s not too hard to get to from Jefferson Park, please tell me.

I hope I see Pablo and Barbara this week.
